Sending out ambassadors to serve as role models and raise social consciousness about children’s rights as scholars in New York Communities. NEW YORK WINS support Advocates that represent families with children having special needs, and Parents that are unable to attend IEP meetings and battle school districts for the services their children need and are entitled to. NEW YORK WINS will also work closely with New York organizations that support Autism and the families affected by ASD, to coordinate highly effective programs that educate and provide treatment, based on the best practices and give intervention methods for children diagnosed with ASD, and their families.
Sunday, July 23, 2017 will mark the 18th Annual Original Tee Golf Classic (OTGC) at Wild Turkey Golf Club, Crystal Springs Resort in NJ. Known as the nation's premier celebrity/ amateur golf tournament, the OTGC was created to celebrate the African-American golf enthusiasts, young and old and pay homage to the pioneers of golf. The OTGC features a competitive golf tournament, Nine-hole youth competition, professional instruction, and spectator activities for all ages. This year, NEW YORK WINS Incorporated will co-sponsor the "Junior OTGC Fresh Classic" - a fun experience open to boys and girls who team up with PGA professionals, to compete in a "scramble format" golf game. The Nine-hole competition offers young golfers an opportunity to win prizes while interacting with sports legends and positive role models. This year's honoree will be Super Bowl XXII MVP, Doug Williams.
